The Bolling Wilson Hotel

Let me just say this: if James Bond, a golden retriever, and a wizard had a lovechild, it would be Jason (I Think) the bartender. This man doesn’t pour drinks—he performs liquid symphonies. He made me a cocktail so smooth it apologized to me after I drank it. I asked for something “refreshing” and “light” and he handed me a drink that tasted like a summer breeze went to therapy and got its life together. I’ve never been emotionally supported by a mojito before. Now I’m making better life choices. Also, his cocktail garnishes? Sculpted. Not sliced. My gin & tonic came with a cucumber ribbon so delicate I considered framing it and naming it “Kevin.” By the end of the night, everyone at the bar had become friends, or possibly a cult, led by Jason the Charismatic, Patron Saint of Cocktails.

We travel to Disney a few times a year and found this gem as a stop on the way home. The staff is friendly and professional, the room was very clean with a lot of character. A lot of attention to the details which far outdid our stay in Disney. The breakfast was beyond delicious as well. Thank you all for the great night and morning!

So glad we stayed at the Bolling Wilson Hotel. The room was very comfortable and quiet, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We had dinner at their restaurant, Graze, which was fantastic. I will say the included breakfast cereal choices were a bit on the sugary side, they could have had a few more healthy options. After having the superb dinner I was hoping for the breakfast to be a little better than the average included hotel breakfast, but overall it was perfectly fine.

We went to the rooftop bar, The Perch. Jason, the bartender was very personable, mixed a great cocktail and gave good advice for food choices! The view is really nice and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. We met some other very nice locals and had a wonderful evening. Try the Brussel sprouts... they're amazing!

I found this property on accident and I’m so happy I did! I love the charm & personality of the building, along with some of the sweetest front desk staff I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in the past few years!! Unfortunately I was only staying as a stop along a road trip and didn’t have time to experience the food from the restaurant on site. I did have time to grab a coffee from the shop across the street & drink it on the rooftop while watching the clouds roll of the mountains. I was so impressed with this hotel - the perfect location, the cleanliness, the history - plus it was cheaper than many of the corporate chain hotels right off the highway. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a quaint, romantic, and charming stay.

This is my favorite hotel to stay with when I travel to the area. The food is great, the facility is clean, beds are comfortable and the bar is very nice as well. The only suggestion I would make is moving the start time for breakfast form 7:00 to 6:00-6:30 to align more with other hotels in the area. That would be more convenient for the crowd that starts work earlier in the day.

Loved it. Its an older hotel that has been kept up to date and very well taken care of. It has a small restraunt / bar and another rooftop bar. Cost was nice and staff were all extremely friendly. Would highly recomend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and beautiful, with thoughtful touches—like a bow on the spare toilet paper—that made it feel extra special. The breakfast buffet was delicious and a great way to start the day. Great downtown location!
